It's time to fix Calderdale
We need a stong Liberal Democrat voice on Calderdale. The Conservatives who have run Calderdale since 2000 have let people down badly. The fiasco over the waste contract last year could end up costing local tax payers over £6 million. Meanwhile vital services like caring for vulnerable children have got worse. Over the last three years the independent assessment of Safeguarding Services for children has declined from good in 2007 to inadequate earlier this year.
