17,000 HOUSES would be built within years if Labour win the general election, says Mid Sussex MP Nichlas Soames. THe Government are committed to the plans despite recent evidence that Mid Sussex's infrastructure is simply unable to cope with the scale of the growth. In contrast, the Conservatives have promised to scrap the housing threat within a year of taking office and let local communities decide themselves how much development they want.
