Over the course of this election, I have been delighted at just how many people have told me they agree with Nick Clegg when he talks about fairness and change.

Nick's call for a fairer tax system, a fair start for children, a fairer economy and fair politics has struck a chord with the British public and has gone down particularly well here in Cambridge

Many residents have told me that they like Nick Clegg and his values.

People have said they agree with our plans to make the tax system fairer and they like what Vince Cable says about stopping bonuses for bankers.

But the single biggest issue for many people has been the need to fix our broken politics, introducing a fair voting system and ending the 'seats for life' system favoured by Conservative and Labour MPs.

Here in Cambridge, I have also been campaigning on civil liberties, for a fair deal for council tenants and on the environment -- although none of these issues have had the national media attention they deserve.

The unfair way that this government treats Cambridge's council tenants is a scandal.

I am deeply concerned that Britain is not doing enough about climate change -- the single biggest threat we face in the 21st century. And I am passionate about the need to protect our freedoms from government attack.

If I am elected on Thursday, I will speak up for Cambridge and our values on these vital issues.

I hope you will give me your support when you cast your vote so that your MP can be one of a large group of Lib Dem MPs who will be able to fix our politics for good.

PS Please remember that here in Cambridge the choice is between a Lib Dem MP and a Labour MP. The Conservatives and Greens came such a long way behind here last time that they have no chance of winning this election.
