Graphic: Lab 29% / Cons 26% / Lib 16% "2008 Elections: Just 93 votes to win in St Mary's"

"New Team for St Mary's. The people of St Mary's have been voting for change in the 2008 and 2009 elections. In 2008, the conservatives polled a strong second place, just 93 votes behind Labour. In the recent Euro elections, our count observers registered that it was neck-and-neck between Labour and Conservatives, with the Liberal Democrats trailing in third place..."

Other sections include: - Tackling anti-social behaviour "The council need to show leadership on this issue and give powers to the local police on alcohol bans, dispersal orders and greater use of CCTV". - Boris Johnson supporting the London Living Wage "A LLW is not just morally right but it makes commercial sense as all businesses need good, willing and motivated workers to support them through the recession and onto greater prosperity when the upturn comes." - Cleaner streets for St Mary's "I am amazed at how much rubbish is on the streets of Islington and how the council is failing to take the problem seriously. Clean streets have to be a top priority, because it sends a message that an area is being neglected and that attacts more crime". -
