For the future of our town Luton is a great town with great people, we should have a great future. We need to work together towards a vision for Luton, shout about our strengths and build on what’s best about our town.
Jobs and community - the key is our "crown jewels" Together we can build our community and increase pride in Luton from the inside out. • Unused land and buildings. • Luton Town football club. • Our transport connections.
Our young people - the future of our community We need every young person in Luton fulfilling their potential. Now is exactly the time to invest in them for the future of our town. • Education starts in the community. • We need a world-class education system for every child.
Our community depends on good public services Our public services support us all. Doctors, schools, the fire brigade, community centres, elderly care services, youth projects - they are of enormous value to our community. • I’ll stand up for good public services for Luton particularly for the most vulnerable in our community. • To give the people of Luton the best possible public services I want local people to have more say in Council spending and a directly elected Mayor for Luton accountable to local people.
