Say 'no' to the Controlled Parking Zone
- The County Council plan a Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) in the Magdalen Road area between Cowley and Iffley Roads.
- It will cost residents £50 a year for a permit to park your car in the zone. Each dwelling will be allowed up to 2 cars.
- Every adult in the zone can have 25 free visitor permits and can pay £15 for 25 more. A visitor permit is for one car for a day.
- Having a car permit will NOT guarantee you a place to park. In fact there will be fewer spaces to park than there are now.
- Residents in Iffley Fields (from Iffley Road to Meadow Lane) have campaigned successfully not to be part of this CPZ.
- The County Council is consulting residents now until December 18th. Please tell them what YOU thing about the proposed CPZ.
