Saving Worthing In this recession Worthing needs to encourage shoppers by making the town as user friendly as possible. This means reducing car park charges to a bear [sic] minimum to encourage off-street parking, which relieves congestion. Reducing penalty charges to £5 would also help bring in more visitors. The town is now infested with Wardens who wait by cars in the hope of ticketing them if the owner is six minutes late returning to their car
