Above all else, as your next MP I will be committed to represent your views in Parliament. I will always stand up to Westminster when people in Oxford speak out. So when local people said no to Iraq, no to academy schools and no to the student top-up fees it was me, not Labour's MP, who stood up for you.

I will continue to work closely with Lib Dem Oxford West MP Dr Evan Harris and Oxford East based Lib Dem MEP Catherine Bearedr,making a strong united voice for Oxford. Working together we can achieve more for you and ensure that Oxford's needs are addressed locally, nationally and internationally.

I will always publish my expenses online, clearly for anyone to see and I expect to be held to account by you. The Lib Dems have always encouraged freedom of information request. I will not be absent from any vote to make Parliament more transparent and I will not employ family members.
