It was the Labour Party that created the National Health Service in 1948 and it is the Labour Party today that will create a new National Care Service, providing free personal care and support to adults on the basis of need. Social care shouldn't be a lottery and it shouldn't depend on how much money you have. It should be a right, and with Labour it will be.
