Working with local organisations and businesses. Colin McGavigan will work constructively with local businesses, the Council and development agencies to help create the right climate to grow the economy of South Lanarkshire and create and sustain jobs for local people

Protecting the NHS. Access to good quality NHS services is a top priority for Colin and he will campaign both to protect existing frontline services and to expand community-based health care locally

Campaigning for Community Safety. Colin shares the concerns of local people over crime and anti-social behaviour and will press for a tougher approach to be taken towards those who break the law and who cause trouble on our streets
