Do you feel let down by the people running the country?

In 1997, when Tony Blair walked into Downing Street, it felt like a new era. Labour promised so much - but they have taken local people for granted.

Gordon Brown doubled income tax for the lowest paid but let wealthy bankers off the hook. Labour MPs voted to keep an expenses system that was clearly a mess - whilst ordinary people suffered through the recession.

Oxford East's Labour MP has failed to speak up for our area. He voted to hike up taxes for the lowest paid. He voted for the war in Iraq and has toed the party line again and again.

Enough is enough. We need an MP we can trust to always put our area first.
