Lib Dem tax plans will help families across the country. Tax cuts announced by the Lib Dems will cut bills for millions of families. The plan will mean that no-one would pay tax on the first £10,000 of their income. Those earning over £10,000 a year will find themselves £700 a year better off. Pensioners will also gain by £100 a year. The tax cuts will be paid for by a new 'mansion tax' on houses that cost over £2 million and by closing tax loopholes exploited by the very richest.
