Green Action: Election Specil

Robin Harper, Scotland's longest serving Green MSP, has urged voters to make history by electing a Green MP to the Westminster Parliament this year. He is standing in the Edinburgh East constituency, which covers a wide area of central and eastern Edinburgh. The leaflet provides some background information on Harper, and expresses his enthusiasm for the job. He says "Why are we spending billions on Trident and ID cards while cutting public services? Why do we still not have a decent living wage for all? We need a 'Green New Deal', to create the jobs that will help us tackle climate change". The leaflet also claims that it is a three-horse race in Edinburgh East between Labour, the SNP and the Greens. It also highlights the success of their Transition Town scheme in Portobello.
