Independent in Lincoln
It feels pretty bad to be let down; especially by people we once trusted to run our economy and make the laws that should have protected us all. The politicians have let us down in so many ways from the banker’s bonuses to the expenses scandal and much more. The politicians have spent our money, and our children’s money, and blamed it on everyone else. We need hope and optimism not bickering and blame offered by political parties. I love this country and I want to see it great once again. We’ve had the stuffing knocked out of us but we are British so we will fight back. If the United Kingdom were a business we would sack the board of directors (namely the 646 MPs) and get a new board. You have that opportunity on 6th May 2010.
