In 2005, we promised to put schools at the centre of local communities, renovate your local libraries, build and refurbish bus stations, expand community care and introduce community support officers and neighbourhood wardens. We delivered on our promises and we have delivered so much more, our services have just been judged to be amongst the best in the country.
