Campaigning for a better deal for Cornwall
Mebyon Kernow exists to win a better deal for all the people of Cornwall. It is a unique political party. It is based in Cornwall – not London – and made up of ordinary men and women from local communities throughout the Duchy. Mebyon Kernow has no political masters in London to please and we will always fight for what is best for the people of Cornwall. We believe that local people should have more say in how their lives are run and we are leading the campaign for the greater self-government of Cornwall through the establishment of a Cornish Assembly. MK is committed to a just and fair society, with prosperity and real social justice for one and all. We believe that effective public intervention is needed to combat poverty, tackle social deprivation and fight for the disadvantaged.
