The General Election is going to be an important one for our communities. We all have to make choices about what we want, and often about what we don't want.
When you elect your Member of Parliament you expect them to make the best possible choices for you at both local and national levels. That's why for the last 13 years I have been listening closely to local people and, I believe, acted in your best interests.
The National Health Service is precious to all of us, caring for us when we need it most. Labour has invested £200m in rebuilding Salford Royal Hospital making it one of the best in the country. We are now building the new Christie Cancer Centre at the hospital offering world class cancer care close to home. Labour will guarantee that everyone will have the right to see a cancer specialist within 2 weeks of being referred by their GP bringing early treatment and peace of mind.
