As your local MP, I stand up for what's important to you, and I've helped over 20,000 local people with their individual problems.

I live in Islington with my husband and 3 children. I moved here 17 years ago after my brothers and I were brough up by my mum on a large council estate outside London

Life was hard for my mum. But without a doubt, Labour's minimum wage, nursery provision & flexible working hours would really have helped her.

That's why I'm Labour. Islington people are a great mixture - but I believe we share a desire for a fairer country

I believe we must now: - create fair-paid jobs - build decent affordable housing - protect our economy & environment

As your MP, I will continue to work hard for you - so that together, we can make in Islington a future fair for all
