Change for St Mary's

[NB: This is the same leaflet as sent out in December 2009 - see http://www.thestraightchoice.org/leaflet.php?q=503

There is an additional letter attached]

2010 will represent a year of change in Islington

Increasing council tax, town hall waste, and the wrong priorities can only mean one thing:

It's time for change.

It's time to refocus priorities on running an efficient council - one that supports all residents' needs, not just some. We need a pro-active council which tackles crime, reforms our housing services and schools, removes unnecessary spending, and provides the transparency on how your money is spent.

In the 2008 and 2009 elections, more and more Islington residents voted for real change and for the Conservatives. Here in St Mary's ward, we are just 93 votes behind Labour [refers to the London GLA elections in 2008]
